The Quassapaug Sailing Center, a non-profit educational institution, offers sailing lessons under the watchful eyes of certified instructors; hosts Snipe Fleet 231 racing; and opportunities for open water swimming. QSC is located on beautiful Lake Quassapaug in Middlebury, Connecticut. Lake Quassapaug is a mountaintop, spring-fed lake with a motorboat speed limitation of 5 mph.

We were supposed to sail in a wooden dinghy regatta on june 5th, but when Gigi went to prep the boat 2 weeks prior, she realized that the mast joint had spontaneously separated while on the rack, since the last time we said it.
